Organisation
Our Client is an exciting and fast moving company with a turnover of over Ј30 million per year. We are a major European distribution company and supply DVDs to key retailers in France. We also distribute computer hardware throughout the UK.
Job Description and Areas of Responsibility - Overall responsibility for the administration of DVD sales - Inter company invoicing. - Ensuring sales orders are received and sent out correctly. - Management of three order processors. - Resolving queries and problems arising from sales orders. - Managing stock. - Preparing reports and statistics. - Creation and supervision of procedures. - Training staff on new procedures.
- Liaising and co-ordinating work with the following departments: Purchasing Front Office (Paris office) Operations Warehouse Sales order processors Returns Accounts Rental
- Direct responsibility to the company directors.
Candidate Description
The successful candidate will: · Have 2-3 years administration experience · Have previous supervisory*management experience · Have fluent written and spoken French and English · Be able to work well in a team · Be able to work in a fast moving, stressful environment · Be able to work autonomously · Be pro-active in their approach · Be able to multi-task · Have excellent organisational skills. · Have a good memory · Be PC literate and have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. · Be able to learn and use new software quickly.
Previous experience of Access Accounting software Working in international distribution would be an advantage
