Account Manager
THE CLIENT: This company has a superb name in the market and has been providing cutting edge innovative engineering solutions for over a century. Their commitment to their customers has enabled them to build a reputation that is second to none in the industry. Recent restructuring has resulted in the need to recruit a proactive and well organised engineering orientated sales person. They are able to sell a package of instruments used to measure Flow, Level, Temperature & Pressure, along with associated products from across their Business Units encompassing Valves, Pumps, Piping Systems and Trace Heating equipment.
THE ROLE: This is a cradle-to-grave role where you will be responsible for managing relationships with the main EPC Contractors and their appointed Consulting Practices and Blue Chip End Users across all Process Industry Sectors i.e. Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals. Contact level will include maintenance engineers, chief engineers and buyers and typical contracts will value 100k+. Up to 50% of your time will be spent looking for new business opportunities. The successful applicant will benefit from full internal sales back up. Knowledge of selling into the process industry to both Engineering and Procurement Departments is a pre-requisite for this position.
THE PACKAGE: Basic Salary: 35-40,000 Commission: 4-6,000 Company Car: Allowance or Company Car Benefits: Cont. Pension, Family Healthcare, Laptop, Mobile, Expenses
