This large bank is looking to achieve Basel 2 compliance on a key project. It is at the vital stage of software implementation and they require a senior level Tester to assist in the implementation of the system and User Acceptance Testing. This person will also be required to assist in the development of the functional specification and configuration of an element of the project. The role will be on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract basis.
This role will suit a very experienced Tester who has demonstrable experience of User Acceptance and system testing. Additionally candidates should have experience of Functional Specification development. You will also be required to understand new software applications.
Over a period of at least 5 years the candidate will have worked as part of a testing team helping to create test deliverables (test conditions, scripts, data requirements etc), planning the test schedule, executing the test cases and scripts and documenting results including discrepancies and defects.
The best candidates will stand out thanks to an ability to understand credit risk technical factors, Basel Accord and CAD directive. Other duties will include supporting data streams and training solutions.
Travel: This role may require frequent travel to Dublin. Candidates should be prepared to spend up to 3 days a week in the Dublin office.
