My Client is looking for an experienced site support engineer to work on site at their head office in Hayes Middlesex.
Working for this well established Importers and Distribution Company. You will be supporting the companies ICT infrastructure (3 Sites UK* Overseas) including, 3Com*HP Switches, NT Servers, Unix Server, Internet Firewall (Hardware and Software), E-mail and Fax Servers.
Main responsibilities will include Maintainance of Hardware and Software including Laptops, Desktops, Servers and Printers, support of Windows operating systems (XP* 98*NT *2000) Managing Telephone * Voice Systems, MS Exchange Server 5.5* 2000 Administration, Daily Network Health Check * Security Reports Hardware * Software Procurement, User Training, Liaison with Telecom*Software* Hardware Companies, Maintain Software Library and Asset Register, Managing Third Party Contracts, Manage backups and disaster recovery, Managing Company Infrastructure over to HP Pro Curve 2524 Switches (Linking Over 1 Ghz Fibre Link)
You will be supporting between 50-100 users at any one time and may be involved in various projects as the company expands its current infastructure.
