Investment bank requires and experienced Environment Manager to work collaboratively with infrastructure, development and implementation teams to ensure environment plans are aligned to current and future technical and business needs. will also work closely with the Technical and Test Manager to ensure environment plans are integrated with the overall project and test plans. Will build and maintain an excellent working relationship with internal infrastructure support teams. Ensure effective use of environments to maximise use of infrastructure resources. Build, implement, monitor a set of control processes to ensure the integrity of all environments is maintained, Document and communicate the status, availability and use of all environments. Support other technical staff by ensuring environment needs are planned into in all development activity. Essential: Experience of the management of complex application infrastructure during a period of rapid change, Proven knowledge of the environment control processes required during the development and implementation lifecycle. Experience of managing environments running a multi-tiered architecture with a large number of integration points, Knowledge of Windows, Linux and Oracle technologies sufficient to define migration plans for use by technical support staff. Ability to document and present plans in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
