An urgent requirement for a Junior Systems Administrator to join an established services provider. Responsible for the smooth operation of their clients systems, on a daily basis you will be fully involved with all aspects of systems administration, housekeeping and predominately 2nd line support via a national Helpdesk. The right person will currently be in a junior systems administration role and have experience in a helpdesk environment. Technically you will have a working knowledge of Windows 2000*2003 server, administration of ADS and Exchange with knowledge of backup* restore procedures and Microsoft Office with any experience of Citrix*Terminal Services being an advantage. On a personal front you will be a excellent communicator, diplomatic with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload. The role will be based mainly in Oxford but travel around the country will be necessary from time to time. The ideal candidate will be a car owner which they can use for this travel. This one is urgent; I have a sole agency agreement with this client and am preparing the shortlist before the end of the week. Please send CV for further information
