PRODUCTION*PLANNING ENGINEER
Candidates are required to have production engineering experience within a wiring and electronic assembly environment. Ideally candidates should have knowledge of processes, methods and procedures for both electronic and mechanical production techniques involving wiring, PCB assembly and volume electro-mechanical assembly. Duties will include:
Optimising and*or developing production methods and processes to produce a more cost effective and efficient through put of work
Developing manufacturing cells, flow lines and tooling requirements within contract budgets whilst maintaining quality `Productionisation` of specific contracts
Preparation of Bills of Materials from customer drawings and purchase orders Preparation of detailed process planning layouts using the most appropriate production methods Carrying out scheduling of work using computerised production control systems Liaising with customers on all aspects of manufacturing and delivery Candidates must be conversant with capacity planning techniques within a computerised system. You will also have the ability to implement new production methods into existing and new workloads within a flexible, changing manufacturing environment. Preferably, you will hold a relevant qualification to ONC standard. A working knowledge of surface mount technology would be an advantage.
