Chemical Development Engineer, (Permanent) Based in Lincolnshire, Salary DOE
Our client is one of the largest most successful independent manufacturers of disposable products within the UK. Established in the 1970s, our client has constantly pushed the boundaries of innovation in each of the six distinctive product divisions in which they operate: janitorial, catering; automotive; chemicals; wet wipes and retails. Our client is now looking for a Chemical Development Engineer to join their team. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, the Chemical Development Engineer will give day to day manufacturing support in development expertise to the janitorial chemical blending and wet wipes department.
The successful individual will:
Develop and maintain new and existing water based cleaning products*wet wipes for the industrial market;
Assist in specification and purchasing of chemical*materials;
Oversee the health and safety of the chemical department through undertaking COSHH*Risk Assessment and updating MSDS sheets.
In addition the suitable candidate will be involved in keeping the businesses up to date with any new legislative requirements whilst adhering to distinct policies.
Applicants must be educated to ?A? level*HNC*HND standard with Graduate applications in either chemistry*chemical engineering or a related subject. Individuals who are numeric, proactive in their approach, and able to demonstrate an ability to work on their own initiative will be successful in their application.
The salary for this position is negotiable dependent very much upon skill set and experience.
