PRODUCT QUALITY MANAGER
Candidates are required to have at least 5 years manufacturing experience in an electronic and electrical environment with exposure to high volume batch and prototype manufacturing systems. Duties will include:
Responsibility for the day-to-day activity of the Inspection department
Generating QA reports to show progress against Company Performance Indicators Management of customer returns
Having a key role in changing Inspection from a cost driven activity to value added process control Developing and enhancing Electrical Inspection processes to ensure there is excellent job knowledge in order to assist production in the manufacture of high quality products Candidates will ideally have a relevant Degree or an HNC in Engineering. Applicants should have a thorough knowledge of electronics and manufacturing processes and must be able to demonstrate statistical process control using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
