Job Purpose
Responsibility for the following:
The analysis of the Military and Aerospace market sectors in Europe, Middle East and Far East
Determination of our client`s market share, performance and analysis and reporting of company?s capabilities.
Provide market analysis to aid the development of our client`s capabilities within the identified markets.
Key Results Area
To support the preparation of an investment strategy to provide the maximum return to our client`s Group over the next 5 years.
Defining strategies for capturing opportunities identified in the three year forecast within the defined customer base.
To actively promote our client`s products and capabilities to the wider market place.
To produce detailed market analysis on the industry, customer base and competitors performance. In addition, analysis of the Defence market; size, segmentation and provide guidance on opportunities.
To be primarily responsible for the long term development of the future budgets for the Military and Aerospace business
The development of key customer relationships and all areas associated with future aircraft requirements.
Developing further key strategic relationships with customers as defined by the Strategic Marketing Director and Managing Director.
Identify future revenue from forecast bookings. Determine different strategies and management approaches appropriate for exporting into our emerging international niche market.
Analyse the market environment to identify business opportunities in key designated territories of operation
Analyse the current market situation and use the analysis to decide which are the best marketing options to adopt
The implementation and participation in the teamlet process for the capturing of defined and agreed opportunities.
To provide progress reports at Sales Meetings.
Provide marketing and sales support to all Middle East and Far East business opportunities as identified.
Regular reporting of long-term business strategy.
Participate in Bid*No Bid Approval
The key interfaces are;
· Strategic Marketing Director and the Managing Director in reporting the progress and exceptions to the agreed strategy and forecast.
· Business Analysts in the development of a business strategy.
· The contracts department in the issuing of quotations, acceptance of contract amendments
