Tax Manager/Senior Manager Needed for Excellent CPA firm in NYC
Major CPA firm seeks solid Tax Managers or Senior Managers, with generalist experience, to join their NYO. This is an opportunity to join a firm that is seeking professionals to grown into a PARTNERSHIP ROLE.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
• Performing consulting and compliance services for corporations, partnerships, LLC’s and individuals
• Reviewing compliance work prepared by staff
• Supervising, training and evaluating staff
• Maintaining strong client relationships
• Maintaining knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends that affect your client
• Identifying tax planning strategies for your clients
The right candidate will have the following:
• BS in Accounting or related field
• MS in tax a big plus
• 6+ years recent experience in the tax department of a CPA firm
• Experience in individual, corporate and partnership tax work
• Strong team player
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project management skills
