Objective: Healthcare Company seeking a Pharmaceutical delivery + Shipping/Receiving Clerk. Individuals are responsible for safely handling merchandise carefully, loading and unloading pharmaceuticals, shipping, receiving, packaging, scanning labels, and delivering pharmaceutical equipment to hospitals and/or physicians. Deliveries are made using your own vehicle.
Schedule.
Monday – Friday. 2 PM – 7 PM.
Every 4th weekend on-call.
Salary/Compensation.
$12 an hour PLUS gas and maintenance. Gas and maintenance is approximately 35 cents a mile.
Job Requirements
- MUST have clean driving record. Copy of your driving record from the DMV will be required on interview date.
- MUST pass nationwide criminal background check
- MUST pass drug test
- MUST be punctual, responsible, and flexible.
- Should have a functional knowledge of the NYC/ Long Island geographical area.
- Drivers have direct contact with our customers, therefore neatness in personal appearance and ability to establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service is imperative.
- Must be functionally literate and capable of recognizing and understanding instructions to ensure proper delivery of merchandise.
- High School diploma or GED recommended.
Job is located near the border of Queens and Long Island.
The driver is responsible for safely operating a motor vehicle and delivering all pharmaceutical merchandise properly and undamaged.
