Grant Associates is a dynamic company that is committed to improving the communities where we work through services for people and businesses. We operate numerous government-funded programs in New York City, including the Workforce1 Transportation Career Center in Jamaica, Queens. The Transportation Center provides a range of employment and training services for jobseekers and businesses in New York’s growing transportation sector. We are seeking a creative and energetic Inside Sales/Lead Generator with a strong Business to Business sales background to join our entrepreneurial team
Responsibilities:
• Develop initial relationship with employers in order to generate job opportunities for our jobseeker base
• Work closely with Business Services Manager and Account Management team to determine to develop strategic sales initiatives
• Ability to make 80-110 calls per day generating open job orders for the Account Management Team
• Meet performance expectations and prepare regular reports of results
Required Qualifications:
• Experience in one of the following areas: Previous in the B2B sales
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of telephone-related telemarketing/lead generation background experience is desirable for this position.
• BA or BS degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with MS Windows based software
• Results-oriented
