The opportunity:
Get in on the ground floor of a newly minted social media marketing startup with big plans to revolutionize the way it all works. This is a senior developer position with responsibilities that run the gamut from core technology architecture and greenfield feature development to unit test creation, QA and release management. The successful candidate must be comfortable taking on multiple tasks in several disciplines while sticking to aggressive milestones. Basically you need to be ready to work your tail off. The hours will be long but the work will be challenging and fun. We want someone passionate about what they do and committed to helping us make this company a success. The successful candidate will work closely with the CTO to build out the product suite.
Qualifications:
You will need to have graduated university with a CS degree or be able to demonstrate that you have got equivalent experience. You should have multiple years of industrial strength Java experience. Years of C++ experience is a fair substitute so long as there is evidence of a deep understanding of object oriented programming. Ruby on Rails is a must have. Web design work, CSS, HTML, JavaScript is a huge plus. Experience with the Facebook platform APIs (libraries are fine), Twitter API, and Amazon’s various APIs also a huge plus. Experience with Apache, Nginx or equivalent and Unix, Linux or equivalent is required.

The the founding team has experience building successful companies from scratch and is excited about doing it again. Soversa is presently keeping a low profile but we are actively engaged with pilot customers and are working closely with them as we iterate through product releases.
