Staff Accountant with 5+ years of experience sought for fast-paced office located near Penn Station servicing multiple clients within the magazine publishing and entertainment industries.
The most desirable applicant must have superb Quickbooks (incl. inventory) and advanced MS Excel skills, as well as competent written and verbal communications skills.
Extensive experience with A/P, A/R, payroll, collections, bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany journal entries, year-end, monthly financial statement generation and analysis is required. This is the fastest paced job you will ever apply for, and hopefully the most satisfying at the end of the day.
Be a self-starter able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency and pride about your work.

An accounting degree from an accredited college or university is required.
