Technical Associate / Intranet Administrator
Growing financial communications firm needs computer-savvy, hands-on Technical Associates / Intranet Administrators. Candidates must be proficient in a range of skills: from formatting Word documents, manipulating data in Excel (tables, charts and reports), preparing PowerPoint presentations and using web-based content management tools. Daily responsibilities will vary, and include intranet administration (via a web-based tool), web-application support (must be able to learn our applications and know them inside and out), and general office technical support. Candidates MUST be organized, detail-oriented, and EXCELLENT communicators. Candidates must also be resourceful, team-oriented, and able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
We are a privately/employee-owned company based in New York and London specializing in international and domestic financial communications and transaction processing. Our systems process instructions on securities issues globally. We are expecting continued growth in the coming year and need to find new team members who will integrate well and become part of that success.
Requirements-
PRIMARY SKILLS:
- MUST be extremely comfortable with computers / using the internet
- Creating and formatting Word and PDF documents, including mail merge
- Formatting data in Excel to create reports, charts and tables
- Designing professional business presentations in PowerPoint
- Manipulating images using Photoshop or equivalent
ADDITIONAL SKILLS, A PLUS:
- Managing websites using web-based content management tools
- Familiarity with HTML
- An eye for design and any prior experience designing for print or web
- Designing, scripting and/or maintaining websites
- Manipulating data in Access, SQL server or equivalent
