Leading provider of institutional automated trading and workflow solutions for Forex and Treasury services seeks marketing/communications specialist. Position may require periodic travel to Europe.
Responsibilities:
• Develop marketing collateral, sales support and marketing programs
o Write and produce variety of print and electronic materials, including brochures, product sheets, case studies
o Create comprehensive product/presentation summaries
o Capture screen shots with callouts for functionality, features and benefits, prepare diagrams and flow-charts
o Create and format client-facing and internal presentations
o Conduct ongoing reviews of competitor positioning and internal capabilities to ensure and maintain consistency and organization of sales materials
o Create and coordinate client communications, including eNewsletter and other client-facing direct mail campaigns
o Edit technical release notes working closely with product managers and technical sales people
o Produce events, client activities, conferences, and meetings
• Provide internal communications
o Facilitate company-wide communications i.e. staff meetings, presentations
o Structure and update intranet to maximize information sharing and facilitate easy access to key company and industry news
o Advise on best way to communicate policy changes, activities, or news.
• Manage launch of new public website
o Oversee project management and coordination of all content creation/update
• Manage external corporate communications and public relations
o Draft press releases
o Develop article concepts and white papers and edit sponsored publications
o Draft speeches and talking points for sales and senior management
o Liaise with media contacts at relevant trade publications (mainly in London)
• Develop social media strategy and ongoing social outreach program
o Create and maintain a new company blog and/or Twitter site.
o Integrate strategy with public website
o Develop webinars
o Coordinate with Linked-In and other social networking sites
Skills / Requirements:
• Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding entrepreneurial environment
• Hands-on approach to learning about products, technology and marketplace activities
• Innate understanding of business communications in financial services - solid understanding of foreign exchange and trading technology preferred
• Work independently and in teams and manage multiple project priorities in entrepreneurial environment
• Desire to research and work with new technologies, including social media
• Ability to build strong relationships with technology, product management and sales colleagues
• Ability to communicate clear and consistent messages that promote the company’s expertise, core values, and vision in a competitive marketplace.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) is required
• Familiarity with SEO, SEM, publication and presentation design, market research and writing for blogs/blog-marketing.
Compensation: • $85K – $110K
