We are a fashion company and in need of a Senior Graphic Designer with experience working with Fashion companies.
The Freelancing gig is for 2-3months with possible FT Perm position.
Hours: M-F 9-530pm
Location: Great Neck, Long Island, mandatory to work "in-house" (extremely easy compute from Manhattan)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Graphic Designer is required to perform the following responsibilities:
• Responsible for development and production of Frye marketing materials including look books, invitations, advertisements, packaging, trade show and event graphics, and other collateral materials
• Responsible for the development of marketing materials as listed above for other branded divisions. In some cases, this will require managing the outsourcing of this development
• Responsible for developing or managing the outsourcing of development of collateral pieces for specific private label customer marketing initiatives
• Responsible for the outsourcing and completion of print jobs including delivering job specifications accurately, negotiating pricing, completing pre-press process, and seeing jobs through to successful completion
• Manage the development and maintenance of branded websites
• Strong print material knowledge: ads, posters, packaging
• Develop and maintain vendor base for the outsourcing of web development
• Work with branded and private label management teams to ensure individual project initiatives are met
• Some travel may be required for the execution of all responsibilities listed above
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA in Graphic Design related fields; MS preferred
• Mac user
• Excellent knowledge of In-Design, Photoshop, illustrator, FLASH, HTML(a plus)
• Candidate must be self-motivated, yet willing to work in a team-oriented environment
• Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have working knowledge of Excel
• Must be open to working some weekends and/or evenings where necessary. Must be flexible
