Travelocity.com Senior .NET Web Developer (Soho)
Travelocity is looking for talented .NET web developers to work on Travelocity`s fast growing Media Team. We are seeking individuals who are motivated, willing to work in a dynamic environment and work within a small team of 8 people. The individual would work on mainly on developing new features on the WEB 2.0 website www.igougo.com.
This position is a contract to hire.
Responsibilities and skills:
• Has good knowledge of AJAX and JavaScript frameworks.
• Has good knowledge about web services / SOA applications and related technologies and standards.
• Has experience developing database applications and issuing SQL statements.
• Has strong knowledge of OO design practices.
• Translates the design specification into physical code;
• Has strong knowledge of the ASP.NET and C#
• Has strong leadership/mentorship skills
• Has experience or is able to learn and work with Java language, eventually (although most development tasks are in .NET)
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years related experience; Good Communication skills, written and verbal; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
