Presales Product Specialist and Implementation Specialist for UK Company Expanding US Operations
We are a growing UK founded software company selling Asset Management Software to mid-market and enterprise customers in the US, UK and Australia.
We are seeking to employ a product specialist with considerable IT Asset Management expertise, good knowledge of Network Discovery, and the capability to understand Financial Asset Management, Accounting Standards, and Depreciation. Applicants must have an excellent track record, MCP certification and extensive experience working for one of the major ITAM software, SAM, Help Desk or other Software Asset Management vendors such as Peregrine, Maximo, Eracent or Altiris.
Responsibilities include driving presales demonstrations, client consultations, translation of customer requirements into system configuration requirements, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The applicant to be capable of executing complex implementation projects requiring script based programming, T-Sql programming, process mapping, report design and system configuration.
Required Skills and Experience:
Excellent presentation skills
Imagination and ingenuity
Ability to operate independently
Excellent knowledge of at least two Microsoft based programming languages
Software Asset Management experience
Ability to speak strategically with clients in ad-hoc demonstrations
Working knowledge of ITIL standards and requirements
Microsoft SQL Server Scripting
Networking and SNMP experience
Windows Security experience, certification preferred
Experience implementing and configuring enterprise products
MCP certification, ITIL certification or similar
A bachelor’s degree, MBA or MS in Computer Science a plus
Location: NJ We will entertain a home office operation.
Compensation: Compensation commensurate with experience
