PHP/Flex and/or Flex Developer
A small/elite engineering team operating within a very large company is looking to bring on at least one more developer, more likely two. Please email us your resume and/or summarize your experience as it pertains to the requirements below.
About the position:
The position is ON SITE, business hours.
NO RECRUITERS please. (sorry)
Though I would be happy to entertain small flex teams overseas for future work, they will not be considered for this company.
The position is HANDS ON.
About our project:
Our two agile projects are in the area of custom content management and work flow. We have multiple environments and integration points, a custom PHP/Unix/Cake back end, and a custom Caringorm/Flex front end. Our project is well funded and our talent is world class.
About our team needs:
Our small team consists of one amazing Flex designer and a few programmers that are basically dedicated to flex/AS3, or work both in the world of Flex/AS3 and server side PHP. We are looking for both types of developers.

Skills Required for PHP/Flex Developer Position:
-Significant experience with the Cake framework
-Significant experience in PHP Object Oriented development
-Significant experience in php/file system interactions, such as uploads, zipping, file system manipulation, etc.
-Broad experience as a AS3/Flex programmer
-Reasonable experience in AS3 Object Oriented development
-Reasonable experience with the Caringorm framework
-Reasonable experience with custom item renderers

-Architect level experience
-Reasonable experience in server side java programming
-Reasonable experience in Ruby programming
-Reasonable experience in shell programming.
-Reasonable experience with Javascript (for troubleshooting assistance for other projects)
-Experience with multiple Zend modules
-Experience with multiple XML/SOAP type integrations
-Experience with Open Source content manipulation tools like FFMpeg, EXIF, etc.
-Some experience in UNIX administration

Skills Required Flex Developer Developer Position:
-Significant and extremely broad experience as Flex developer.
-Experience and expertise with the Advanced Data Grid and their custom item renderers
-Significant experience operating in an AS3 based Object Oriented environment.
-Significant experience with Caringorm framework
-Significant AS3 core programming experience
-Reasonable experience with all forms of Flex application optimization
-Experience working with the profiler
-Some experience with flex UI design (transitions, effects, etc.)
-Reasonable experience with some form of back end programming to feed flex, such as Ruby or PHP.
-Object oriented PHP development
