Mr Youth, a social marketing hot shop, is looking for a ASP.net Web Developer to join our team in our flagship New York office located in Chelsea Market. Already boosting a star studded client roster, award winning case studies, a history of delivering measurable ROI for clients and a proprietary best in class technology platform, Mr Youth is well poised to continue its rapid growth.
Seeking mid to senior level web developer with 3-5+ years experience. For this position, the developer will work with the development team under the direction of a project lead to design and implement an online platform for use with major global clients. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment using the latest web development practices and technologies to create innovative and high-quality solutions.

* Required skills and experience include 3-5+ yrs work experience in each of the following:
- Software Development with ASP.NET, Microsoft C#, object-oriented programming and design patterns, and coding best-practices.
- Must be knowledgeable about advanced ASP.net features and frameworks such as MVC and .NET Entity Framework.
- GUI development with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX. Must have experience with JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, Dojo, or Moo Tools.
- Relational database expertise with SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, schemas, user defined functions, etc. using SQL Server 2005. Must be proficient with database code optimization, exception handling, normalization, concurrency and performance issues.
- Version control and team development experience with emphasis on bug-free code and QA process.
- Strong knowledge of IIS application pooling, security, ASP.NET pipeline, wild card mapping, and memory management.
- Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to precisely implement project specifications and business logic.
- Experience with web development tools such as Firebug and IE Web Developer.
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle Processes, and large scale development projects.
* Preferred skills include
- Experience with social media such as the Facebook API and similar mashup/data exchanges.
- Understanding of Test Driven Development and NUnit testing.
- Understanding of continuous integration and build scripting such as MSBUILD or NAnt.
- Candidates with interactive agency experience are strongly preferred.
- Computer science or related degree.
